Matt lived in Las Piñas, a suburb south of Manila, Philippines before moving to Saint Cloud, Minnesota 14 years ago. He then completed his degree in Microbiology at the University of Minnesota and worked in industry prior to medical school, working at Ecolab and 3M. His early exposure to the lab made him interested in pursuing a residency in Pathology. Outside of the lab, he enjoys the various parks of the Twin Cities by going Geocaching. During the winter he keeps warm watching movies and playing games with friends.
