What are your medical/professional interests? General surgical pathology, non-neoplastic gastrointestinal pathology, and thyroid disorders

What attracted you to the U of M for residency? The welcoming environment and the well-roundedness of the program on both sides (AP and CP)

What do you love most about Minnesota?  The people (Minnesota nice is not a lie!), the diversity in the Twin Cities, having all four seasons, and of course, the State Fair

Mohammad graduated from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University Medical School in Saudi Arabia back in 2019. He wanted to pursue his career in pathology in the United States to get the best learning and research opportunities. He chose the UMN pathology program for its rich history, friendly environment, balanced Anatomic and Clinical Pathology curriculum and being in a lovely city. In his free time, Mohammad enjoys exploring the city, watching movies, playing video games, reading books, and sometimes playing the ukule
